Amplify PR runs regular social media training workshops in Winchester. We are currently running sessions on Twitter and LinkedIn, please sign-up for the next available course or register your interest. We also provide media training and run workshops on public relations and content marketing. Bespoke sessions are offered on a one-to-one basis or for small groups and these can be tailored to your organisation’s needs.

Overview – Twitter for Business

Twitter is a highly effective channel for businesses looking to raise awareness of their brand, reach more customers and drive traffic to their website.

Despite advances by its competitors, Twitter is still the place to go for real-time mass conversation, news and opinion. It’s also ahead of its peers because it is a public channel  – one huge database that businesses can use to gain vital information about its customers and competitors.

Businesses use Twitter to listen to and engage with its customers in a targeted way. Be warned, Twitter is a hungry beast that needs feeding about four times a day. It’s high maintenance but there are ways to manage it to reap the rewards.

LinkedIn is the most effective social channel for B2B businesses. It’s a huge database of potential customers who are almost always willing to connect with you and therefore learn more about your products or services.

It is a professional network and therefore it is different to Facebook, in particular. To be successful you need to not be too heavy on the sales. OVERVIEW – MEDIA TRAINING

If you are wanting to do more media interviews or already do but would like to be able to do them better and feel more at ease – then our media training is for you.

Our media training is done on a one-to-one or in a small group workshop. We tailor the session to your needs and equip delegates with the skills and confidence they need to do successful print/online, radio and TV interviews.

Drawing on her experience as a BBC journalist, Director Lisa Preston provides step-by-step media training for spokespeople. Providing helpful tips and techniques to help you remain calm under pressure, get your key messages across and control the interview.

There’s a strong focus on practical experience and so participants are interviewed with a microphone and in front of a TV camera. Lots of feedback is provided and participants get to keep a copy of their TV interview.
